BREAKING: Charlie Kirk Shot During Campus Event at Utah Valley University
Turning Point USA founder wounded as FBI joins investigation and political leaders respond.

The incident unfolded about 20 minutes into Kirk’s presentation on his American Comeback Tour. A university spokesperson confirmed he was the only person struck and was escorted away by his security team as the courtyard was evacuated.

Videos shared on social media captured the chaos, showing Kirk slumping in his chair as blood appeared on his neck. Audience members can be heard screaming as they fled the scene.

The FBI announced it is monitoring the case closely. “Our thoughts are with Charlie, his loved ones, and everyone affected,” FBI Director Kash Patel posted on X. “Agents will be on the scene quickly and the FBI stands in full support of the ongoing response and investigation.”

Vice President JD Vance urged Americans to “say a prayer” for Kirk, while Utah Senator Mike Lee also offered support, writing that he was “praying for Charlie Kirk.”

The Utah stop was part of Kirk’s nationwide American Comeback Tour, which hosts events on college campuses to promote conservative values.

This is a developing story. More details will be reported as they become available.
