Democrat Eugene Vindman has refused to condemn comments by his sister-in-law justifying and defending the second assassination attempt against President Donald Trump.
“Trump has been inciting violence against his enemies for years,” said Rachel Vindman on X. “Sorry you’re triggered. I mean no I’m not. I don’t care a little bit.”
In another post Rachel Vindman said “No ears were harmed. Carry on with your Sunday afternoon.”

Donald Trump, Jr., called her “f**king demented” for her statement.
Rachel Vidman is married to Alexander Vindman, an Army Officer who claimed in Congressional testimony that Donald Trump’s improperly tried to leverage Ukraine into investigating bribe payment made to Joe Biden’s family.
Trump was unharmed after his protective detail captured an armed would-be assassin pointing a high-powered rifle at Trump through the bushes at Mar-a-Lago golf course. This is the second close call for the former President who was shot in the ear at a rally in Pennsylvania.
Vindman’s brother-in-law, Congressional Candidate Eugene Vindman, is a Ukrainian national who has vigorously supported American involvement in the war between Ukraine and Russia. The gunman, Ryan Routh, was obsessed with the ongoing conflict and even traveled to the Ukraine in support of the war effort.
