Sen. Mark Warner Calls Release of Russia Spy Docs a “Distraction”
Warner downplays explosive declassified files showing Obama-era effort to fabricate Trump-Russia evidence, claims release is meant to distract from Epstein revelations.

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard has declassified documents implicating former President Obama and senior intelligence officials with spying on President Trump, but Senator Mark Warner calls the files a distraction.

“A new low in their effort to distract from the Epstein files,” Warner said, calling the declassification an “all-out effort to distract Americans.”

Gabbard called the Russia documents “the most egregious weaponization and politicization of intelligence in American history” and revealed efforts by the White House to manufacture evidence of a Trump-Russia collusion to influence the 2016 Presidential election.

Both the Hillary Clinton Campaign and Democratic National Committee were fined by the Federal Election Commission for violating campaign finance laws for their efforts in the Steele Dossier Hoax that was used as evidence to justify surveillance against Trump.

Warner, who has not prioritized the Epstein case for the past 5 years, has made multiple posts on X, Facebook, and other social media outlets in the past weeks ranting about Gabbard’s release of the Russia files and demanding information on Epstein. The Senator has repeatedly attacked Gabbard, calling the former Democrat House member incompetent. Gabbard has called the contents of the Russia release proof of “a years-long coup with the objective of trying to usurp the President from fulfilling the mandate bestowed upon him by the American people.”

The Justice Department has formed a Task Force to investigate and prosecute espionage and abuse by former Obama-Biden officials implicated in the Intelligence release. Former FBI Agents have said the documents reveal one of the biggest political scandals in their lifetime. (RELATED: High Stakes Special Election Heating Up)
