BET Founder Donates $500,000 to Winsome Earle-Sears
The longtime Democrat expressed shock and dismay at the racist sign waved by a Spanberger supporter at a recent rally against women’s athletics.

Winsome Earle-Sears’ campaign to become America’s first female African American Governor got a major boost in the form of a $500,000 donation from Black Entertainment Television (BET) founder Robert Johnson.

The billionaire and longtime Democrat has supported former Governor Terry McAuliffe and Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, but was motivated to support Earle-Sears after a Democrat protestor’s targeted Earle-Sears with a racist sign at an anti-women’s sports rally.

“Madam Lt. Governor,” Johnson said. “I was so appalled by that racist diatribe displayed by a useful idiot at a recent press event that I chose to show all the voters of Virginia how Black Brothers stand up to defend and support their Black Sisters when Confronted with unadulterated racism. I have always been a good investor and that’s why I’m investing in you.”

Earle-Sears has been the target of racist material in the past with some pundits saying that her victory in 2021 was due to white supremacy.

“How any Black American could ignore a sign like that and still vote for Abigail Spanberger is nuts,” said Twitchy, a Republican leaning news aggregator. “Perhaps the tide is turning and the Democrat Party is being seen for who and what they really are. Look at how they’re treating Winsome, who could very well be the first black female governor in the country. If she had a D next to her name, she’d be on every magazine cover and on every Sunday show, and the Left’s entire campaign would be about how racist Republicans are for standing in her way.”

“It’s a shame,” said Earle-Sears. “She was holding up that sign for a whole hour, Nick, and nobody said to her to take it down. They’re spewing hate. The very hate that they say we on the Republican side are doing is what they’re doing, and it’s a shame.”

President Trump secured an unusually large percentage of black male voters last election as Republicans have put more emphasis in appealing to black Americans. Many Republicans credit campaigns such as WalkAway with the increased diversity of the GOP.
