Rep. Vindman Says Trump Presidency Worst 45 Days in American History – White House Fires Back
The White House quickly responded to the Ukrainian born Vindman with a list of Trump successes.

Virginia Congressman and Ukrainian national Eugene Vindman drew a biting response from the White House after saying telling MSNBC he was “hard pressed to think of a worse 45 days in American history” than the six weeks since President Trump’s inauguration.

Vindman, who has made support for the war effort in Ukraine a central theme of his leadership, referred to the actions of President Trump as an “abomination” and an “end of the pax Americana.”

“What a stupid, moronic statement,” the White House said in an official response. “According to Vindman, there is nothing ‘worse’ than record low illegal border crossings, getting killers and rapists off the streets, freeing American hostages, protecting women and girls, securing ‘$3 trillion in investments and trade commitments,’ saving taxpayers billions of dollars in wasteful spending, pursuing world peace, and capturing terrorists. Vindman has a terminal case of Trump Derangement Syndrome — and it shows.”

The bad blood between Vindman and Trump runs deep. After Joe Biden – at the time former Vice President – claimed to have blackmailed Ukraine into dropping investigations against his son’s company, President Trump demanded Zelensky investigate the claims. Vindman’s brother, Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman objected to President Trump’s demands leading to Congressional hearings and Trump’s eventual impeachment.

Vindman has consistently framed his work in Congress as an anti-Trump and positioned his campaign as a referendum on President Trump.

Since his inauguration President Trump’s sweeping executive orders have taken massive steps on foreign policy including withdrawing the US from the World Health Organization and shutting down unaudited foreign aid through USAID.

After the US backed off support for the war, European leaders agreed to borrow an additional $160 billion to spend on their respective militaries.
